virtual7 and the ISO-Gruppe are driving Germany’s digitalization forward

Karlsruhe, 24 June 2024: The digitalization of public administration in Germany is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In this context, the IT services company virtual7 is pleased to announce an existing successful partnership with the ISO-Gruppe. Together, they have made significant progress in the modernization of administrative processes in Germany. For over two decades, virtual7 has been setting standards in the IT industry and is actively involved in shaping Germany’s digital future. The company’s goal is to transform the often complex and paper-based processes of German administration into intuitive and digital solutions. They achieve these ambitious goals through close cooperation with strategic partners such as the ISO-Gruppe. ISO Public Services GmbH is a leading provider for digital transformation in the public sector. Jörg Schmitt is the division manager of this ISO-Gruppe subsidiary and can look back on over 20 years of experience. “Our partnership with virtual7 is based on a shared vision and strong mutual trust. Together, we have successfully tackled the challenges of the public sector,” says Schmitt.

Success in public tenders: Delivering results effectively

A central component of their collaboration is public tenders, which award significant contracts worth billions to private companies every year. Since 2017, virtual7 and the ISO-Gruppe have jointly participated in several large projects, including a major project for one of Germany’s largest federal authorities. This shows that medium-sized IT companies can achieve outstanding results through cooperative partnerships.

Transformative solutions: Simplification of administrative processes

One outstanding example of their collaboration is the successful simplification of the child benefit application process. “It used to be a bureaucratic nightmare. Today it’s a matter of a few minutes,” reports Schmitt from the field. Such improvements are the result of the joint efforts of virtual7 and the ISO-Gruppe, which also made a significant contribution to easing the burden during the coronavirus pandemic by ensuring the smooth processing of short-time working allowances.

Focus on the future: tackling the challenges of municipal digitalization

Looking to the future, the focus is particularly on the challenges of municipal digitalization. “The implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG) at municipal level will be one of the biggest challenges in the coming years,” predicts Schmitt. Both companies see new opportunities here for innovative solutions that will make citizens’ lives even easier.

Commitment to promoting digital transformation

virtual7 and the ISO-Gruppe are ready to take on these challenges together and continue to make valuable contributions to the digitalization of public administration in Germany in the future. Together with their partners from the IT services industry, they are looking forward to taking the next steps and driving the digital transformation forward.
