YOUR MISSION

  • Review and analysis of the Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet;
  • Provide business insights, analysis, and support to the Financial Controller as required;
  • Involved in the accounting for acquisitions and liquidations;
  • Involved in the preparation of the annual statutory financial statement’s entities in line with filing deadlines;
  • Support the preparation of financial reports:  monthly, quarterly;
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies, creation of end-user materials;
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation;
  • Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives;
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners in both
    German and English;
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed and look for areas of improvement;
  • Plan, organize, control, and assist in the operation of the accounting and finance functions;
  • Issuing invoices, calculating profitability;
  • Drawing up financial analysis reports, budgets, and reports to management and shareholders;
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, managing cash flows;
  • Ensuring that the right policies, procedures, and controls are in place and followed for timely and correct financial reporting;
  • Maintain all the financial reporting systems and make recommendations for improvements;
  • Records of clients/suppliers’ documents;
  • Checks with suppliers/final balance customers;
  • Issuing travel orders and returns;
  • Preparation of financial statements: balances/processed payments/unpaid invoices.

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO US

  • Education: University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting;
  • Position level: 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Professional skills: relevant experience in financial area;
  • IT Skills: Strong experience in working with Excel and large databases;
  • International business exposure, working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders;
  • Very good language skills both written and spoken in German;
  • English as a second language required;
  • Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Professional approach to work and positive attitude.
