25 years of virtual7 GmbH
(Karlsruhe, ) virtual7 GmbH has been present in Karlsruhe for 25 years. What started 25 years ago with Marcus Weiss and Jochen Rieg, as a two-man business for web design, is now a company with over 120 employees. Spread over five locations in Germany, Romania and Switzerland, the company is involved in numerous projects.
For a long time now, virtual7 has no longer been concerned with programming websites, but works daily to shape Germany’s digital future. In numerous public sector projects, it supports the development of digital solutions. The focus is on added value for each and every citizen of Germany. virtual7 supports ministries, authorities and agencies in simplifying processes and making them more accessible digitally.
Much has changed in the past 25 years. Be it the introduction of the responsive company organization in January 2020 or the change in strategic orientation. One thing, however, has remained the same: Marcus Weiss and Jochen Rieg as Managing Directors. So has the enthusiasm for the further development of the company. In the development of the company organization, the focus is on progress and trust in the abilities of the employees. Many employees have accompanied virtual7 since the beginning of their careers and have remained loyal to the company in difficult times.
