virtual7 GmbH celebrates another very successful business year at the end of 2023. Turnover from digitalization services exceeded the previous year’s level by 33.8% and amounted to EUR 34.90 million at the end of the year. Profit before interest and tax (EBIT) was 12.7%, resulting in the second most successful result in the company’s history. 

Successful involvement in planning 
By actively involving employees in the annual planning, it was possible to present not only profitable company figures but also the achievement of all company targets. Bonus payments totaling 1.38 million euros are paid out to employees to give them a share in the success of the past year. 

 Sustained growth to meet demand for skilled workers
The company has recorded its most significant team growth since its foundation in 1996. Despite the ongoing shortage of skilled workers, the IT and consulting service provider can look back on a total of 43 hirings in the past year, growing the team to 161 employees. A sustainable strategy, clear goals, a successful in-house recruiting team as well as a strong employer brand with firmly anchored corporate values are the cornerstones of this success. 

 A clear focus on the future 
Looking to the future, the company is determined to expand its area of activity within the German public sector. In addition, a new Customer Cluster in the areas of environment, transport and energy is opening a customer field – creating added value for society by participating in digitalization projects.  

 Transparency builds trust
As in the previous year, the kick-off was streamed live and provides employees with an overview of the entire year. At the same time, all changes in the company are communicated transparently and in detail. Based on existing corporate values, transparency and clarity form the foundation for Responsiveness. Put into practice, it reinforces trust in the company as a responsible employer and encourages individuals to work towards a common goal.
