(Karlsruhe, 30.09.2022) After two years of analog abstinence due to the pandemic, virtual7 participated this year, represented by five employees, in the 31st EDV-Gerichtstag at the premises of Saarland University. Under the headline “Digital legal system – EDVGT has been there for 30 years!” the intensive exchange with between service providers and experts from the judiciary and legal sector was promoted from September 14 to 16, 2022. In addition to the “eAkte”, this year’s topics included the use of AI and agile approaches, among others.

The presentation by an employee on the topic of “More agility for processes and decisions” was able to attract interested parties to the company’s stand. An interest in the company’s field of activity filled the booth for the entire duration of the event. In total, more than 50 new contacts were made within Germany’s judicial environment.

It became clear that the company has established itself as a force to be reckoned within the field of digitalization of the judiciary over the past few years. In addition to the existing cooperation with the German states of Bavaria and Rhineland-Palatinate, representatives of digitalization projects in other German states became aware of the company’s core business in the area of consulting, advisory and development support for specialized procedures.

The interest after the presentation on the topic of agility led to the fact that in the future, the optimization of processes and decision-making paths through agile approaches can be placed with existing and new customers as a possible additional service. This is intended to create added value that will enable digitalization projects to be driven forward efficiently and in a solution-oriented manner.

Overall, participation in this year’s EDP Court Day can be considered successful. Through the intensive exchange with customers, partners and interested parties, it is possible to gather new impressions and to continue to position oneself as an expert in the field of digitalization of the judiciary and the legal system.
