virtual7 inspires Young Talents at Connect IT with responsive company organization

(Karlsruhe, ) The Connect IT of the Faculty of Computer Science and Business Informatics offers students and graduates of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences the opportunity to make initial contacts in the field of computer science every year. As before, virtual7 participated in this year’s company contact fair. Corona conditionally, the event took place for the first time in virtual form from May 10 to 12, 2021. Based on a well-known app, companies, students and graduates were able to present and “match” themselves in advance.

“Being able to match in advance is a great way to respond directly to students’ needs,” explains Julia Tismer, HR Marketing & Recruiting Support at virtual7. “We’re excited to meet young talents who visit our digital booth, where we can inspire them about our benefits, projects and our responsive company organization.” Via stream, students and graduates learned all about starting a career at virtual7. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to participate in a quarter-hour speed dating session with Julia Tismer and Fabian Herdle, HR Recruiter at virtual7, and ask specific questions regarding the company.

In addition to numerous benefits for employees, virtual7 regularly offers the opportunity to take on responsible tasks as a working student, intern or graduate, as well as an individual role within the company tailored to personal strengths.

“The change in our company organization in the direction of responsiveness, is a unique selling point with which we can also inspire young talents for us,” says Julia Tismer. “Their own ideas and new approaches add value to us as a company, creating a relationship of trust that results in long-term collaboration.”
